The Staffordshire Training Hub (STH) is a not-for-profit organisation, and only receive a finite amount of NHSE funding to ensure all clinical and non-clinical staff working in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent receive the opportunity to attend training and educational courses.  There is no direct cost to the delegate or Practice to attend a course, however the STH have to secure external providers at considerable cost to deliver courses. To ensure we maximise our funding and courses run at maximum capacity, we monitor late cancellations and delegates who do not attend.

The STH work to a 48-hour cancellation policy to recoup costs from Practices for late cancellations or non-attendees.
We fully appreciate that at times work and personal pressures can lead to non-attendance however, we hope you can understand, and abide by our policy as set out below.

Cancellation of Place:

  • If your circumstances change, and you are no longer able to attend, please ensure that you cancel your place via Medtribe, or you or your Practice Manager updates the STH, so we can reallocate the place - as often there is a course waiting list.

Non-attendance:

  • If you do not attend, the Practice will be charged a non-attendance fee, as per the policy below.
