Reporting
Medtribe provides comprehensive reporting capabilities to help you track bookings, attendance, and event performance. Export data for analysis or compliance requirements.
Bulk Reports
Bulk Reports let you export data from multiple events, sessions, or tickets at once. This is the recommended way to generate comprehensive reports.
Accessing Bulk Reports
- Go to the Educator section
- Click Reports in the navigation
- Select what you want to export
- Click Generate Report
Report Types
You can export the following types of data:
| Report Type | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Bookings | All confirmed bookings including attendee details, booking dates, payment status, and attendance records |
| Waitlist | People waiting for places on sold-out sessions |
| Applications | Application form submissions, including approval status |
| Reservations | Reserved places (invitations) that haven't been confirmed |
| Booking Form Data | Custom booking form responses submitted by attendees |
Filtering Your Report
Narrow down your report by selecting:

- Sessions - Select specific sessions within events
- Tickets - Filter by ticket type
Generating and Downloading

- Choose which report types to include
- Click Generate Report
- Wait for the report to process (you'll see a progress indicator)
- Click Download when ready
Reports are generated as Excel files (.xlsx) which you can open in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar software.
Recent Reports
Your 10 most recent reports are saved and available to re-download. This is useful if you need the same data again or want to share the file with colleagues.
Single Event Reports
For quick exports from a single event:
- Open your event
- Go to the Attendees section
- Click Export
- Select the format (CSV or Excel)
This exports attendee data for that specific event only.
Attendance Tracking
Track attendance for multi-day events:
- Go to your session
- Click Check-in or Attendance
- Mark attendees as present or absent for each day
- View attendance summary
Attendance data is stored per day for multi-day events, allowing you to see partial attendance. This data is included in Booking reports.

Common Questions
How long are reports available to download?
Your 10 most recent reports are kept available for download. Older reports are removed to save storage space. If you need a report again, you can regenerate it with the same filters.
Can I schedule automatic reports?
Automatic scheduled reports are not currently available. You need to generate reports manually when you need them.
Why can't I see certain report types?
Some report types are only available on higher plans. Booking form data export, for example, requires an Educator or Pro plan. Check your plan details for specific limits.
Can colleagues see my reports?
In an organisation workspace, reports generated by any team member are visible to all team members. In your personal workspace, only you can see your reports.
What format are the reports in?
Reports are generated as Excel files (.xlsx). You can open these in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc, or any software that supports Excel files.
Why is my report taking a long time?
Large reports with many events or attendees take longer to generate. You can navigate away and return later - the report will continue processing in the background.
Best Practices
- Use Bulk Reports for comprehensive data across multiple events
- Export regularly for compliance and record-keeping
- Filter appropriately to get focused, relevant data
- Save downloads locally since reports expire after time
- Track attendance promptly so data is available in reports
Troubleshooting
Can't see the Reports section?
- Check you're in the Educator section, not Event Management
- Ensure you have events in your current workspace
Report shows no data?
- Check your filter selections (events, sessions, tickets)
- Ensure the selected events have bookings
- Try selecting fewer filters to broaden the results
Download not working?
- Wait for the report to finish generating (check for progress indicator)
- Check your browser's download settings
- Try a different browser
- Contact support if issues persist
